As soon the dust of a wretch whom thou wouldest not, as of a prince whom thou couldest not look upon, will trouble thine eyes if the wind blow it thither; and when a whirlwind hath blown the dust of the churchyard into the church, and the man sweeps out the dust of the church into the churchyard, who will undertake to sift those dusts again, and to pronounce, "This is the patrician, this is the noble flower, and this the yeoman, this the plebeian bran?"
      - [Equality]

Busy old fool, unruly sun,
  Why dost thou thus,
Through windows and through curtains call on us?

Her pure and eloquent blood
Spoke in her cheeks, and so distinctly wrought,
That one would almost say her body thought.
      - [Thought]

Love, all alike, no season knows, nor clime, nor hours, days, months, which are the rags of time.
      - [Love]

Poetry is a counterfeit creation, and makes things that are not, as though they were.
      - [Poetry]

Sir, more than kisses, letters mingle souls; for, thus friends absent speak.
      - [Letters]

Sleep is pain's easiest salve, and doth fulfill all the offices of death, except to kill.
      - [Sleep]

The eloquent blood spoke in her cheeks, and so distinctly wrought, you might have almost said her body thought.
      - [Blushes]

The flea, though he kill none, he does all the harm he can.

The maskers come late, and I think will stay, like fairies, till the cock crow them away.
      - [Fairies]

To roam giddily, and be everywhere but at home, such freedom doth a banishment become.
      - [Travel]

To worthiest things, virtue, art, beauty, fortune, now I see, rareness of use, not nature value brings.

Up, up fair bride! and call thy stars from out their several boxes; take thy rubies, pearls, and diamonds forth, and make thyself a constellation of them all.
      - [Bride]

Virtue hath some perverseness, for she will neither believe her good nor others ill.
